I am currently attending BYU-Idaho (formerly Ricks college) and am a History education major P.E. minor. I heard about this rumor and had to laugh. My P.E. minor is based out of the Hart building, plus I used to work there in the early morning. I never saw anyone except fr students and faculty coming to work out early in the morning. Plus, being the History major, I decided to research. Rexburg is known for it's maticulous record keeping since the area was settled, as well as the college keeping fabulous records from the time it was known as Bannock Academy in the late 1800's. There is no record of a murdered little girl on campus or near the area esp. matching the time period that the supposed murder happened (1950's). Just silly little urban legend. The only ghost on that campus is the ""Spirit of Ricks"". Happy hunting!
